John Piper and Michael Praed are two of Cornwall's best known contemporary artists. They have been exhibiting paintings around the county and further afield since the 1960s and have been close friends for much of this time. Our June 2011 exhibition is the first joint show dedicated solely to their work. To coincide with this, new biographies of each artist have been published, detailing their careers, the other artists whose work has influenced their own, and giving examples of their paintings over the last 50 years.
